This year is the 45^th anniversary of the founding of Formosa Transnational, Attorneys at Law (FT).  To mark this anniversary, FT is hosting a series of symposiums to discuss and explore various legal issues.  The fourth symposium in this series will address employment and labor issues.
 
Established on October 7, 1974, FT has been servicing Taiwanese and foreign clients with the goals of “fostering a sense of justice, advocating for the rule of law, and promoting service to society.”  This year, as FT celebrates the 45^th anniversary of the founding of our firm, we want to reaffirm our broad commitment to our goals through the hosting of symposiums addressing various legal themes.
 
On Friday, September 27, 2019, FT will host the “Formosa Transnational 45^th Anniversary Symposium: The ‘Theory of Relativity’ in Employment and Labor Issues.”  The symposium will focus on: (a) the impacts on employers and employees and related response measures after the announcement of Taiwan’s Labor Dispute Act; and (b) the issues related to dispatched labor as a consequence of the latest amendments to the Labor Standards Act.  Discussions from the perspectives of industry, academia, and government will take place during the symposium.  FT hopes that the discussions will prepare businesses for more harmonious employer-employee relationships in this new era.
