Formosa Transnational represented San’an Optoelectronics Co., Ltd., a Chinese corporation, in its investment of Formosa Epitaxy Incorporation in Taiwan. Investment Commission, Ministry of Economic Affairs has approved the investment.
Mr. Jackson Shuai-Sheng Huang, Partner, Ms. Ivy Jui-Hua Fan, Partner, Mr. Simon Hsiao, Senior Associate jointly represented San’an Optoelectronics Co., Ltd., a Chinese corporation from Xiamen, to invest NTD 2.352 billion in Formosa Epitaxy Incorporation of Taiwan. On August 29, 2013, Investment Commission, Ministry of Economic Affairs approved the investment. This is the largest and the first investment case where the government has approved a Chinese corporation to invests in a Taiwan LEDcompany.
