An amendment to Taiwan Labor Standard Law has been adopted and will be put into effect on 16 May, 2008.  Under the newly adopted amendment, the age of Mandated-Retirement Under Labor Standard Law has been raised to 65.  Before this amendment, the mandated-retirement age was set at 60.
